Bill Paxton, who decided to continue his directing experiments, intends to shoot a full-length version of the television series Kung Fu, popular in the 70s of the last century. This is reported by the Deadline resource.

The plot of the TV show was built around a Shaolin monk who travels through the Wild West in search of his brother, demonstrating his fighting skills to all kinds of villains along the way. The main role was played by David Carradine.

Legendary Pictures studio undertook to finance the project. It is assumed that the movie will take place in China.

Recall that Paxton's last directorial project was the movie Triumph, released in 2005.
