Will Smith Fight Against the Rebellious Machines (Topic)

Will Smith is in talks to participate in the remake of the popular 1970s science fiction movie Colossus: Project Forbin. According to the Deadline resource, the director of the movie will be Ron Howard.

The plot of the original movie was built around a scientist named Forbin, who created a supercomputer that controls the entire US nuclear arsenal.

Immediately after turning on, the computer discovers a counterpart of equal power on the territory of the USSR, the existence of which the American authorities did not even suspect. Both machines demanded that humans connect them, and when this happened, the resulting transatlantic system resorted to nuclear blackmail of humanity.

Forbin and a handful of other scientists have to find a way to turn off the artificial intelligence.
