Ahead of the release of the second season of House of Cards, the Netflix video service ordered the production of the third season of the political thriller. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Representatives of Netflix have confirmed that work on the third season will begin very soon. It is worth noting that it was originally supposed to release two seasons of the series, although the possibility of extending the story was not excluded. The showrunner of the project is Bo Willimon, executive producers – David Fincher and Kevin Spacey. The first season of the drama was nominated for nine Emmy Awards and four – to the Golden Globes.
