Hulu commissioned the adaptation of Stephen King's novel 11/22/63

Streaming service Hulu has commissioned the production of a nine-part television project based on Stephen King's 2011 novel "11/22/63". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jay Jay Abrams' company Bad Robot Productions will be movieing.

The plot of the science fiction novel "11/22/63" is built around school teacher Jake Epping, who travels back to time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. On the way to the implementation of the mission, Jake meets many obstacles. His operations are threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald, a sudden romance and a past that does not want to change.

Bridget Carpenter ("Parents") will write and executive produce the drama alongside King and Brian Burke. Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution will distribute the upcoming series.
