The plot trailer for the movie "Warcraft", based on the popular series of video games, did not cause a stir among Internet users. On the official Legendary YouTube channel, the video received six million views in the first 24 hours after its premiere.

This is significantly less than that of other large-budget projects. For example, the Japanese trailer for the movie "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens", released on the same day, generated 6.2 million views on YouTube. Recall that the plot video of the same project, presented on October 19, 2015, was watched in the first day on the official Star Wars channel on YouTube by 14.6 million users, and the total number of views on various platforms reached 112 million, which allowed the video to become absolute leader.

Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbell, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Robert Kazinski, Clancy Brown, Ruth Negga, Daniel Cudmore, Ben Schnetzer and other actors played key roles in the movie "Warcraft". The premiere of the movie is scheduled for June 10, 2016.

If successful, Legendary is planning to release several sequels in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment. The timing of work on the sequels has not yet been specified.
