Suicide Squad Trailer Becomes Leader in Views (Topic)

The first trailer for Suicide Squad, based on the popular DC Comics comic book series, has taken the top spot in weekly views since its official web premiere. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this data is provided by Zefr, a company that monitors the popularity of videos on YouTube.

The Suicide Squad trailer was in the lead with 50.9 million views. A similar "agility" was once demonstrated by the videos of such movies as "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" and "Jurassic World", and a little more (58 million views) was awarded to the absolute record holder - the trailer for the movie "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens ".

The trailer for the movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" finished in second place according to the results of the premiere week with a large lag. YouTube users watched 19.8 million times. The third place was taken by the video for the drama "The Survivor" - 11.9 million views.

Note that Warner Bros. initially did not plan to release the video for "Suicide Squad", limiting itself to showing it at Comic-con 2015. However, due to the leakage of poor quality video on the Internet, it was decided to organize the official premiere of the trailer in HD quality.
