Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan to star in the remake of The Rocky Horror Show
Victoria Justice ("Nice Looks") and Ryan McCartan ("Dear Doctor") have starred in the upcoming Fox remake of the cult comedy musical The Rocky Horror Show. This is reported by The Hollywood Repporter. The couple got the roles of Janet and Brad, who were played by Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick in the 1975 movie. Reeve Carney ("Horror on the cheap") confirmed for the role of Riff-Ruff, and singer Staz Nair will portray Rocky Horror. In the feature movie, the characters were played by Richard O ’ Brian and Peter Hinwood, respectively. The cast has joined the previously cast Orange Is the New York star Laverne Cox in the previously confirmed Doctor Frank & Furter star. 2 hour special edition, due on Fox in Fall 2016, directed by Kenny Ortega (Michael Jackson: That's It). Ortega will also act as choreographer and executive producer for the project. Producers of the original movie, Gail Berman and Lou Adler, will return to their duties.
