Details of the single player mode in the previously announced shooter "Battlefield 1" have become known. According to Gamespot, chief designer Daniel Berlin shared new information about the project and shed light on some unknown elements of the First World War.

In particular, different characters will be available to the player in the campaign mode. “We want to showcase completely different stories of heroes from all over the world,” said Daniel. One of them will be a Bedouin woman, which users may have seen in the first trailer.

Also one of the characters will be an African American from the "Harlem Hellfighters" regiment. Daniel Berlin said that Electronic Arts put it on the cover to tell people about the little-known details of the First World War, because, for example, many people don't even know that Harlem Hellfighters existed at all.

"We want users to notice the diversity. This was our main goal in creating the storyline and campaign," he added.

As a reminder, the game "Battlefield 1" will be released on October 21, 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The beta version will be well ahead of the launch, but the exact date hasn't been given yet. The shooter will be available for Origin Access members on Xbox One and PC on October 18th.
