The producer of the cartoon "Anomalysis" Dan Harmon intends to create a puppet animated movie dedicated to the famous chimpanzee named Bubbles, who has long been a friend and companion of the king of pop music, Michael Jackson. This is reported by the publication Deadline.

Jackson sheltered the animal, which was previously in one of the research centers in Texas, in 1983. Bubbles soon became a full-fledged resident of the singer's estate Neverland, and also began accompanying him on concert tours and official visits.

Jackson and Bubbles' friendship ended in the mid-2000s, as the matured chimpanzee developed the characteristic aggressiveness of this species and became dangerous to keep at home, especially after the birth of Jackson's children. The chimpanzee was sent to a special shelter in Florida, where conditions for keeping primates are much better than in many shelters for their more advanced cousins.

Bubbles lives there to this day. Note that the lifespan of chimpanzees in captivity can be 50-60 years.

Terms of work on the project and its possible rental schedule at the time of this writing have not been specified. As a reminder, the cartoon "Anomalisa" was one of the favorites of the 2015-2016 awards season.
