August 2015 turned out to be a complete disaster for the USA box office. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by Movie Research. According to a press release received by the Novosti Kino news portal, attendance rates have become the worst in the last five years. In total, domestic cinemas were visited by 10.7 million viewers, that is, two times less than in July 2015 and 30.6 percent less than in the same period a year earlier. At the same time, USA-made movies attracted the attention of only three percent of visitors - 324.1 thousand people. In August 2014, there were 458.7 thousand fans of USA cinema. The most popular foreign movie among viewers was the action movie Mission Impossible 5: A Tribe of Outcasts. It was watched by 2.3 million people. It is followed by "Agents of ANKL" - 1.92 million people and Fantastic Four - 1.2 million visitors. The most visited USA movie project was the cartoon "The Unusual Journey of Seraphima", which attracted the attention of 150.2 thousand viewers.
