James Cameron has clarified his plans for four sequels to the fantasy movie Avatar. In an interview with Famous Monsters of Filmland, the director confirmed that all parts of the project will be movieed simultaneously.

"This is one global production. Miniseries are about to be movieed as well. So we are movieing all four movies at once. So on Monday I can shoot a scene from the fourth part, and on Tuesday from the first. It will be about eight in total. hours of timekeeping. Naturally, this is a real challenge for all of us - to keep in mind the whole picture, the overall storyline, every important twist. It's a kind of saga. As if we were shooting all three movies "The Godfather" at once, "he said .

The director stressed that he does not intend to exhibit the continuation of "Avatar" against one of the episodes of "Star Wars". "It would be unfair to them," he joked. "Of course, I'm not going to compete with them. It's just a matter of business strategy. And it's just stupid. And I hope they won't have such a desire either." >

According to Cameron, he intends to use more location movieing in the work on the four sequels than was the case with the original picture. "We will partly create CGI scenes based on these materials, and partly they will appear in movies unchanged," the director specified.

Avatar 2 will be presented to viewers in December 2018.
