Avatar sequels will be movieed at 48 frames per second. Director James Cameron spoke about this in an interview with Empire.

According to him, initially he intended to shoot sequels at 60 frames per second, but then, having soberly assessed the capabilities of the industry, decided that it would be more expedient to limit ourselves to a less impressive value. Recall that at one time the director was forced to postpone the premiere of "Avatar" due to the unwillingness of the world distribution to play his movie in proper quality.

As for the possible effect that the sequels to "Avatar" will produce, Cameron promised that viewers would watch them "with their mouths open", without specifying the truth of what he meant.

All three movies will be movieed at the same time, which will significantly reduce the cost of their production. Earlier, Cameron claimed that over the years since the premiere of the first part, the shooting systems developed by him have undergone a deep modernization, so work on the set will be much more efficient.

Sam Worthington and Zoe Soldana will play the main roles again. Viewers are likely to see other actors involved in the original project.

Avatar 2 will premiere in December 2016, and Avatar 3 and Avatar 4 will be released in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
