The Star Wars: Battlefront beta will not support offline play. According to Gamespot, "Battlefront" community manager Matt Everett made an announcement on his Reddit account: "Offline gameplay will not be available in the upcoming beta, but in the full game everyone will be able to complete missions even while offline," wrote he.

The location in which the gameplay of the "Survival mission" will take place is the planet Tatooine. On it, two users through co-op or split-screen mode will need to fight off the advancing forces of the Galactic Empire. The troops will also include "elite" attack aircraft, AT-ST walkers, TIE figters fighters and many others.

As a reminder, the beta version of Star Wars: Battlefront, available on all platforms, will also include the 40-player Walker Assault and Drop Zone modes. The download size will be 7 GB for PS4 / Xbox One and 11 GB for PC. Fans and fans will not have to wait long, as testing will begin on October 8, 2015 and will last until the 12th of the same month. Xbox One owners who subscribe to the "EA Access membership" will be the first to access.
