Electronic Arts has announced the release date for the beta version of Star Wars: Battlefront. According to Gamespot, the release is scheduled for October 8, 2015. The beta will be available on PlayStation 4, XboxOne and PC (October 12, 2015). As mentioned earlier, in testing, users will have access to a 40-player mode called "Walker Assault", as well as "Survival mission" and the new "Drop Zone" mod. Additionally, every fan can try out the "Companion" feature on the game's website during the beta. One of its components is the new "Base Command" card game, which will allow users to receive in-game items.
