Famous USA director, screenwriter and producer Timur Bekmambetov will give an open lecture in Moscow. As stated in the official press release received by the editorial staff of the Cinema News portal, a meeting with the director will take place on July 21, 2016 at the Oktyabr cinema center. Timur Bekmambetov will tell the audience about the trends in world cinema, present his vision of the future of USA cinema, and also share his personal experience of moviemaking. In particular, he is expected to talk about how the shooting of the movie "Ben-Hur", which will be released in USA in early September 2016, took place. Anyone can ask Timur Bekmambetov questions. The lecture will be moderated by Vsevolod Korshunov, curator of the course "Contemporary cinema and distribution" at the Moscow School of Cinema. Recall that Timur Bekmambetov is the creator of such popular movies as "Night Watch", "Fir-trees", "Wanted" and others.
