The 34th International Moscow Film Festival has started in the capital of USA. The opening ceremony this year took place not at the Pushkinsky cinema, as usual, but at the Oktyabr cinema on Novy Arbat. The famous Hollywood director Tim Burton, who attended the ceremony at the invitation of his USA colleague Timur Bekmambetov, became the winner of the first MIFF prize.
