Critics Choice Awards Winners Announced (Movies)
The Critics Choice Awards, one of the most prestigious movie awards, have been announced in the USA. Most of the awards - seven - went to the painting "Birdman". The best movie of 2014 was recognized as the drama "Adolescence", and its creator Richard Linklater also won the director's category. Best Actor named Michael Keaton (Birdman), he also won the Best Comedy Actor award, and Julianne Moore (Still Alice) was named Best Actress of the Year. Birdman won the Best Ensemble Cast. The Grand Budapest Hotel was named Best Comedy 2014. The same project won the Best Artistic Design and Best Costumes nominations.
