Academy Award Nominees Announced
The British Film Academy has announced the nominees for its annual BAFTA. The tragicomedy "The Grand Budapest Hotel" became the leader in the number of references, which will be nominated for 11 awards. One less nomination for the movies "Birdman" and "Theory of Everything". The Best Film category includes: Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Theory of Everything. Leviathan, Lunchbox, Ida, Trash and Two Days, One Night will compete for the award in the nomination "Best Foreign Film". Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (Birdman), Richard Linklater (Boyhood), Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel), James Marsh (Theory of Everything) and Damien Chazelle ("Obsession"). For Best Actor, the nominees will be Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game), Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything), Jake Gyllenhaal (Stringer), Michael Keaton (Birdman) and Rafe Fiennes ( "Hotel" Grand Budapest "). Amy Adams ("Big Eyes"), Felicity Jones ("Theory of Everything"), Julianne Moore ("Still Alice"), Reese Witherspoon ("Wild") and Rosamund Pike ("Disappeared" ).
