He took part in the first tours of the Soviet circus in Western countries, which brought him worldwide fame. Oleg Popov not only performed in the arena, took part in the creation of television programs, but also acted in movies. He played cameo roles in the movies "Arena of the Brave", "The Last Swindler", "The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase", "Mom", "The Sun in a String Bag" and others.
