In Moscow, at the age of 84, the popular Soviet and USA actor Lev Durov died. Death occurred in the intensive care unit of the First City Hospital, where the artist was taken earlier after a heart attack.

Lev Konstantinovich Durov was born in 1931 in Moscow. Descended from a dynasty of famous circus performers and animal trainers. He graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School and in 1954 joined the Central Children's Theater, where he worked for 10 years. In the 60s he played on the stage of the Lenin Komsomol Theater, where he left after the director Anatoly Efros. From 1967 until his last days he served in the theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
