Producers Guild of USA unveils its nominees (movies)
The Producers Guild of the United States has unveiled a list of nominees for its annual award. In the section of feature-length movies released for distribution, the creators of ten movies will compete for the main award "the best production group of a full-length movie": "In the Spotlight", "Spy Bridge", "Brooklyn", "Out of the Car", "Mad Max 4: Fury Road, The Martian, The Survivor, The Assassin, The Shortcut, and The Voice of the Streets. In the Animated Films category, the contenders will be Anomalies, The Good Dinosaur, Puzzle, Minions, and Snoopy and the Big-Bellied Movie. The awards ceremony will take place on January 23, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Note that, in most cases, a movie awarded by the US Producers Guild will then receive the main Oscar.
