Star Straight from Compton got a role in The Walking Dead
The star of the upcoming musical biopic "Straight from Compton" Corey Hawkins has a recurring role in the sixth season of AMC's The Walking Dead. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hawkins will play a key character from Robert Kirkman's comic named Heath. In the comic, Heath is first introduced in Issue 69 and is a supply collector from Alexandria. He is friends with Glenn and his love interest is Denise Cloyd. Hawkins became the first officially confirmed new member of the sixth season of the popular zombie drama. He joined the cast who were cast for the fifth season – Alexandra Breckenridge (Jesse), Ross Markwand (Aaron) and Seth Gilliam (Gabrielle's father). In the second half of the fifth season, the group of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) got to the safe zone - Alexandria, where a number of tragic events took place.
