Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly play Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, who starred together in movies such as Ricky Bobby: King of the Road and Step Brothers, will meet again on the same set. According to Deadline, the actors will star in the Sony Pictures' Holmes and Watson comedy directed by Ethan Cohen. The movie will be based on unspecified works by Arthur Conan Doyle, dedicated to the famous detective and his friend and assistant, but the general style will correspond to comedy projects in which both actors have previously starred. It is worth noting that initially Sacha Baron Cohen planned to become Ferrell's partner, but due to a conflict in movieing schedules, he was ultimately unable to take part in the creation of the picture.
