Will Sherlock Holmes go to America?
The genius detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful assistant Dr. Watson can change the slums and pubs of London for the wild prairies and saloons of the Wild West. According to Hollywood insiders, the third film of the detective franchise Guy Ritchie will set in America.The first two films about the adventures of famous literary heroes were rather loose interpretations of the works of Arthur Conan Doyle, and therefore rumors that Holmes and Watson will travel to San Francisco may well turn out to be true. Recall that the first part of the franchise was released in 2009. The picture earned a warm welcome in the press, earned $ 524 million and brought Robert Downey Jr. Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy. Two years later, the premiere of the sequel "Sherlock Holmes: A Play of Shadows" took place. This time, film critics were much more restrained in their estimates, but that did not stop the film from more than recouping its $ 125 million budget.  Triquel was announced back in 2011, but Warner Bros. for a long time I could not find the perfect plot to continue the story of the adventures of Holmes and Watson. Apparently, now the studio bosses have finally come up with a script that completely suits the project participants. Filming for Sherlock Holmes 3 is set to begin next January, and its USA premiere is scheduled for December 23, 2021.
