Fringe star Anna Torv has been cast as the female lead in David Fincher's upcoming drama series Mind Hunter, which is preparing for the streaming service on Netflix. The television project is based on the book "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI`s Elite Serial Crime Unit", written by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker in 1996. The details of the drama, as is customary with Fincher, are kept in strict confidence.
