Community Star cast in The X-Files: Reloaded
Community star Joel McHale has a guest role on the upcoming The X-Files Reloaded series. This is reported by The Hollywood Rporter. The actor and comedian will play Ted O ’ Molly, the head of the popular conservative online news network, who becomes a very dubious ally of Agent Mulder (David Duchovny). McHale is the first newcomer to the cast of the upcoming revived six-part television project, which will premiere on Fox on January 24, 2016. He joined the stars of the original line-up – Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitchu Pillage. Series creator Chris Carter is writing the script for new episodes and is also the executive producer of the show. The broadcast of the original series ended thirteen years ago at the time of writing. The X-Files: I Want To Believe was released in 2008. The role for McHale means a return to public television since NBC shut down the comedy Community in 2014. The cult series howled "resurrected" Yahoo! Screen and has just completed its sixth season. It remains to be seen whether the Dan Harmon-produced series will return with a seventh season, or, as fans of the show hope, a TV movie. McHale's recent work on television is Sons of Anarchy.
