Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose to star in the new X-Files
Robbie Amell ("The Flash") and Lauren Ambrose ("Excavation") have joined the cast of The X-Files: Reloaded, and the day before it was announced that a huge fan of the original Fox show Kumail Nanjiani ("Silicon Valley ") will appear in a guest role in one of the episodes of the series. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Amell will play Agent Miller, who is described as "smart" and "level-headed." The character Ambrose, Agent Einstein, – "caustic" and "self-confident". Both actors will appear in the fourth episode of the six-episode series. As for Kumail Nanjiani, the actor announced the news of his participation in "Reload" on his Twitter page. accompanying her with a joint photo with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson and the comment: "The lighting is strange because a UFO hovers right over our heads. I got into an episode of my favorite TV series, written and directed by my favorite writer Darin Morgan. And this script is amazing." Nanjiani is currently the host of The X-Files podcast, in which he discusses episodes of the Fox sci-fi drama with specially invited guests.
