Warner Bros. postponed Sesame Street with Anne Hathaway

Warner Bros. Film Studio again postponed the date of the premiere of the movie "Sesame Street", which will be based on the popular children's show of the same name. According to The Wrap, citing its sources, the creators failed to meet the previously announced movieing schedule, so the tape will be released not in January 2021, but in June.

Jonathan Krisel, who previously worked as the director, was appointed director. on the series "Baskets" and "Ghosts". Anne Hathaway is still listed as the leading actress, but the actress may be dropped out of the project due to a conflict in movieing schedules.

Note that for the first time about trying to transfer the events of "Sesame Street", one of the longest running shows to the big screens in the history of American television, was announced back in 2012. Then studio 20th Century Fox planned to be involved in the movie adaptation. But this movie was never put into production, and later the rights passed to the studios MGM and Warner Bros.
