Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to movie Dracula, which is the legally recognized heir to writer Bram Stoker's prequel to his acclaimed Dracula. This is reported by the Deadline edition. The novel takes place in 1868. 21-year-old Bram Stoker is confronted with a manifestation of evil that lurks in the ancient tower. The future world famous writer, in detail records his deadly adventure.
