Paramount is preparing Dracula's prequel
Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to film Dracula , which is to be a prequel to the original story. The plot is based on a book written by Jonathan Dylan Barker and Dacre Stoker , the great-nephew of the famous author. The story begins back in 1868, when the twenty-one-year-old Bram Stoker confronts the famous bloodsucker.Dacre himself believes that many of the ideas of the original book Bram Stoker took from his childhood. “Everything can be covered in bloodletting, - the British newspaper Daily Mail quoted the writer's nephew as saying. -As a child, he was ill a lot, but at that time everyone was treated with this method. I think these memories have left their mark.  Dracula has appeared on the screens more than once, starting with the black and white version and ending with the film of the same name with Luke Evans in the title role. The project will be produced by Barbara Muschetti and Roy Lee, and directed by Andres Muschetti, whose film "It" was recently launched in USA.
