"Twilight" and "Little Red Riding Hood" creator Catherine Hardwicke is movieing a feminist comic strip titled "Pagan" from Vault Comics for Constatin Film Studios. This is reported by the publication Deadline. The series, partly based on Norse mythology, tells the story of the warrior Aydis, who is persecuted in her home village for kissing another woman. Later, witnessing widespread injustice towards women, she declares war on the ruler of Asgard, Odin. The comics also feature brave pirates, seductive mermaids, and cursed Valkyries who cross paths. The comic was invented by Natasha Alterici and released in 2017 and quickly gained popularity in certain circles. "Natasha has created a real classic, which is elegantly linked to the current socio-political changes in society," the production group said in a statement on this matter.
