Hasbro and DC Comics have resolved a longstanding trademark dispute in which toy maker Transformers sought to block sales of a Mattel doll based on the DC Bumblebee superhero, a teenage girl with the ability to shrink.

Note that Hasbro is suing DC and Warner Bros., claiming that consumers might mistake the doll for the popular yellow Autobot. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The parties declined to comment on this.

The DC Comics character actually preceded the Hasbro character who was featured in the Teen Titans comic series. in 1977. DC Comics and Warner Bros. revived the character in 2015 when they launched the DC Super Hero Girls franchise. Recall that the fantastic movie "Bumblebee" will be presented to viewers on December 20, 2018. The movie stars Hayley Steinfeld, Angela Bassett, Justin Theroux, John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Peter Cullen and other actors.
