An investment of tens of millions of dollars in cybersecurity, the latest encryption techniques, and a whole team of information security personnel weren't enough for Apple to protect its servers from a 16-year-old schoolboy hacker attack. The unnamed Australian prodigy was able to get hold of authorization keys and downloaded more than 90 gigabytes of secret files from Apple servers.

How the guy was able to get confidential passwords from internal cloud storage, Apple does not disclose. But it is reported that the underage cracker has a solid reputation in the hacker community and was able to visit the servers of the Apple Company several times.

To maintain anonymity, the Australian used VPN services, but, however, this did not prevent the serial number of the computer from which the hacker was sitting on the network. Using the serial number, the intelligence services quickly figured out the hacker's residence address and visited the prodigy to visit, at the same time escorting him to the nearest police station.

According to a lawyer for an Australian teenager, the hacker hacked into the company's servers, as he is a big fan of Apple. The teenager has fully admitted his guilt and is awaiting a September court hearing when a judge will pass judgment on the Apple server hacking case. In the worst case, the hacker will have to spend the next few years in jail.

With a high degree of probability, we can assume that even if a hacker does a short sentence, he will have a happy future in the IT sphere in the future. Managing to hack the servers of a company with a capitalization of more than one trillion dollars is a good plus in the portfolio.
