For several months now, rumors about the imminent appearance of the Lite version of Windows have been circulating on the Internet. The new OS was expected to be showcased at the upcoming Build conference.

However, according to the latest information from the company camp, this will not happen. Let's say more. Even the launch of a dual-screen Windows device will definitely not take place. Plans for its development have been shelved.

Microsoft did not disclose details regarding Windows Core. Previous leaks reported that the operating system would be based on unified code. They predicted it will work on devices of various types.
