This article explains how you can check your site's availability.

All of us, working on the Internet, have repeatedly encountered a problem when a site or resource does not load. If one particular site does not open and the others work, then most likely this is the site. And you need to wait for the server on which this site is located to work. Also, a specific site may be blocked by your company's security service or provider. However, an even more sad situation often arises - not a single site opens, and the browser hangs for a very long time. In this article, we will provide some simple ways to check the site's performance in this case.

Method 1. So, first you need to check the presence of the Internet. If you have Internet access and the specified settings are correct, try using a different browser. It is likely that sites are not opening due to a specific browser freeze. And using another will solve the problem.

Method 2. If using another browser does not help, then you can use standard Windows tools to check the availability of the site. To do this, click on the Start button, enter cmd in the line that appears below (Fig. 1). If you are using Windows XP, then click Start - Run and then enter cmd in the window that appears. This will quickly enter the Windows command prompt.
