Undoubtedly, one of the brightest events of The Game Awards 2018 was the presentation of the new Devil May Cry 5 trailer. The video introduces us in detail to each of the playable characters of the new part of the cult slasher - Dante and Nero, already known to us, as well as a newcomer named V, who specializes in magical skills and summoning giant creatures. In addition, for the first time, Capcom told more about the demo version of the game.
New Devil May Cry 5 Trailer
As for the demo version, the news will not please all fans of the series. It turned out that the demo version will be released in the near future exclusively for the Xbox One console. As for the owners of PC and Playstation 4, there is no comforting news. At the same time, we can assume that the demo version of the game on other platforms will be available after the full release of Devil May Cry 5.
Another interesting detail: as you know, to record Dante's battle theme called "Subhuman" they invited Suicide Silence, a child / nu metal band. However, three months ago, due to accusations of the band's vocalist Eddie Hermida of seducing minors, Capcom deleted the song from its YouTube channel without any explanation. Problems with "Subhuman" were solved as follows - in the current version of the track, which can be heard in the new trailer for Devil May Cry 5, Michael Barr (former member of the group Bury Your Dead) performed vocals.
The game will be released on March 8, 2018. You can read more about the new part of the cult slasher in our separate article dedicated to the announcement of the game at E3 2018.
