Oppo announced the new Find X2 family of flagship smartphones (Topic)

Oppo has released its new flagship Find X2 smartphones, which are planning to become real competitors of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Xiaomi Mi 10 families. Each Oppo smartphone in the new line has a rather capacious battery and a display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. By the way, the flagship Mi 10 has 90 Hz, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max has only 60 Hz.

Another distinctive feature of Oppo's new products is RAM. Its volume in both new products is 12 GB, which is still considered the maximum among mobile phones, although some manufacturers have already announced the development of mobile gadgets with 16 gigabytes of "RAM". Among themselves, Oppo Find smartphones have differences in the volumes of the built-in storage, the characteristics of the cameras and the volumes of batteries, of which two are installed in each device of the series. Their total capacity in the Oppo Find X2 is 4200 mAh, in the older model Find X2 Pro - 4260 mAh.

Cameras

A triple main camera complements the Oppo Find X2 smartphone and its Pro version. The main module is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with a hybrid stabilizer, consisting of six lenses that cover 120 degrees of view. It is complemented by a 13-megapixel sensor with five lenses and a hybrid zoom, and a 12MP wide-angle module. The camera system supports Full HD, 4K video standards, records at 60 fps.

The older Find X2 Pro has a similar 48-megapixel base sensor. The second OIS sensor is also 48MP, while the third 13MP telephoto sensor is complemented by hybrid zoom.

The front cameras of smartphones, which the manufacturer decided to place in the left corner of the screen, are identical. The 5-lens selfie module supports 32MP, is HDR compatible and records Full HD video at 30fps.

Other characteristics

Both smartphones are equipped with identical 6.7-inch screens with 19.8: 9 ratio based on OLED matrix. The displays support Quad HD + and 3K standards. The top is protected by a signature Gorilla Glass coating.

The basis of smartphones is the eight-core Qualcomm Snadragon 865, which at this stage is the most productive processor. The 12 GB RAM is represented by the LPDDR5 standard, the internal memory module is UFS 3.0. Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro support fast 65-watt charging technology, Dolby Atmos audio system with stereo sound support, contactless NFC module, Bluetooth v5.1 wireless standards and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

The Android 10 system has become the software platform, supplemented by the Color OS 7.1 shell.

The younger Oppo smartphone is estimated by the manufacturer at 1,000 euros, the older Find X2 Pro is slightly more expensive at 1,200 euros.
