ORRO has succeeded in last year's Reno line of smartphones. All of her models sold well. One of the reasons for this was the prices typical for devices in the middle price segment. At the same time, their filling was almost flagship. The company has renewed the series this year. Let's tell you in detail about its most advanced device.
If you pick up the OPPO Reno3 Pro smartphone, you will immediately be surprised by its low weight. For a device with a 6.5-inch display, it is 171 grams. This makes it one of the lightest products, as most of its analogues weigh about 200 grams or more.
At the same time, the device looks compact, but the visual reduction in size was not achieved by reducing the screen diagonal and the quality of materials. Its body is still made of metal and Gorilla Glass 5.
The term laconic is well suited for evaluating smartphone design.
The screen does not have curved edges, now there are moderate curves. The ends of the case turned out to be chopped, which gives the device a little brutality.
Another difference from the previous version is the absence of a sliding front camera. Now it has been replaced by a peephole in the upper left corner of the display. This is a tribute to modern trends. Everyone assesses its prospects for their own taste.
The parameters of brightness, resolution and color rendering of the Reno3 Pro screen are at a high level. They are comparable to top-level counterparts. Another thing is interesting. Despite the fact that the device has received the familiar AMOLED panel for a long time, it gives a new user experience. There are several reasons for this.
The first of them is the presence of a display flicker suppression functionality at low brightness. Not all competitors have this, despite the fact that it helps to reduce the burden on vision.
The device also maintains a default refresh rate of 90 Hz. This helps ensure good fluidity.
The third reason is the ability to switch color rendering modes. Most will be satisfied with the standard S-RGB, but you can use the most advanced DCI-P3, which can fully unleash the potential of the AMOLED matrix.
OPPO Reno3 Pro is equipped with a quad camera. The main sensor here is Sony IMX586. It has a resolution of 48 megapixels (f / 1.7). There is also a 13MP telephoto lens and an 8MP wide-angle lens. The fourth lens is a 2MP technical sensor.
The user has the ability to switch between sensors. This changes the viewing angles, and the quality of the shooting does not suffer. As a result, shooting in three variations becomes available. This is encouraging, as only hardware is used, not software tricks.
Available to use fivefold and twentyfold approximation. There is also a hybrid and digital zoom. Also, photography lovers will appreciate the presence of autofocus and intelligent stabilization system. In addition, there is a night mode, allowing you to shoot in two formats: 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel. In the latter case, the process of combining several neighboring pixels into one occurs.
When recording video, you can choose one of several modes: with 4K resolution and Full HD, with enhanced stabilization. It is also realistic to choose to update frames. It can vary from 30 to 60 fps.
Processor and advanced interface
The device received the mid-flagship Snapdragon 765G chipset. It is fast and efficient. This chip is designed to work in fifth generation networks. It is assisted by 12 GB of RAM and a GPU Adreno 620 GPU. There is a 256 GB “bay” for data storage.
This filling allows you to use the device as a gaming device. He is able to "digest" almost any of the modern toys, and, at least, at medium graphics settings. Its performance here is 20% more powerful than in Snapdragon 730. And this chipset is very good.
The smartphone also boasts a number of advanced interfaces. It received a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, face recognition system and full NFC.
All hardware processes are controlled by Android 10 with the ColorOS 7 shell. The presence of such a symbiosis allows you to extract many advantages. One of them is the ability to turn on the dark mode with one button. You can also enable gesture control.
Autonomy and memory
The autonomy of the device is about 36 hours of operation in mixed mode. It is backed by a 4025mAh battery. If we talk about the capabilities of the battery in games, then in one hour of shootings in PUBG, with high graphics settings and an average display brightness, it will be discharged by 17%.
A 30-watt charger is provided to replenish energy reserves. It uses VOOC 4.0 technology, which allows you to charge the battery quickly - in just 55-58 minutes. It only takes 20 minutes to get 50% charge. Not a bad indicator.
The OPPO Reno3 Pro smartphone received a trendy appearance, good filling and good photo capabilities. It also has sufficient performance to handle most tasks.
The device has almost no minuses. You can argue about abandoning the traditional retractable camera in this series, but this is not for everybody.
Most likely, a device with an average price tag of 49,900 rubles will appeal to fans of the brand and other users.
