April has come, which means that another batch of new games awaits us. While hardcore gamers play out Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, we'll list the game releases in April 2019 so you know what to play this spring.

Supraland - April 5 [PC]

If you've ever imagined what would happen if you put Metroid, Portal, Mario and Zelda together, the answer is Supraland. It is a lively sandbox that stands on three pillars: exploration, combat, and puzzles. Doing all this, you will simultaneously pump your character. Roughly speaking, the game combines all the most enjoyable side activities that we love in RPGs and action games.

World War Z - April 16 [PC, PS4, Xbox One]

One of the most anticipated cooperative survivalists of this year. Here, in the setting of the apocalypse, you have to experience the attacks of waves of zombies with friends. The game has more of an action than a survival, so you will care much less about your inventory than about shooting. However, the elements of survival will also be important in order not to die. In the game, we have available different classes of characters for any style of play and a bunch of weapons. Ideal for a couple of nights playing with friends.

Anno 1800 - April 16 [PC]

If you are not attracted by thoughtless shooting at equally thoughtless zombies, Yubistov is releasing the city-planning simulator Anno 1800 especially for you. This time we are entrusted to be the flagships of the industrial revolution in the early 19th century: lay railways, build factories, develop diplomacy, infrastructure and military affairs. The goal of the game is to take control of the whole world. The developer promised us that this part of the game includes all the best from the series, including a storyline company, sandbox and multiplayer mode.

God's Trigger - April 18 [PC]

We play as Judy the demon and Harry the angel. They came to our world to defeat the four horsemen of the apocalypse, who decided to destroy all life on Earth. The developer focuses on violence and destructible environments. For the defeat, we will also be given a large arsenal of melee and ranged weapons. It is also allowed to knead wickedness using the special abilities of each of the heroes. The game is designed for both solo and joint passage in a local co-op.

Mortal Kombat 11 - April 23 [PC, PS4, Xbox One]

During the game's premiere, we were shown 5 trailers of the new fighting game at once. After, they actively continued to feed with new details. Be that as it may, Mortal Kombat Eleven is due out this month and will be the biggest release in April. At the exit we will have 25 characters and 17 arenas.

The storyline will revolve around time travel. In a recent trailer, we were shown how heroes will face older and younger versions of themselves. Therefore, now the phrase "If I could go back in time, then I would knock out of myself all the shit because of which I am suffering now". And all this happens because of some time keepers who, for some reason, violated the time chronology of the universe.

The game has improved the pumping system, added costemization and new features, such as special counterattacks and a second energy meter.

Imperator: Rome - April 25 [PC]

A strategy covering several decades of the reign of the Roman emperor, from the campaigns of Alexander the Great to the heyday of the Roman Empire. We can change history at our discretion and take over the world as we see fit. The developer is bragging about his map, which he calls the most detailed strategy ever.

Days Gone - April 26 [PS4]

And here is the second largest release in April. An echo of the days of the popularity of zombie survivalists. Days Gone offers us a 30-hour storyline that tells about the feelings of the survivors of the apocalypse. The game will focus on exploring the world, we will ride it on our bike. It needs to be refueled all the time, and as we said in our top anticipated survivors this year: “no gas, no fun.”

However, it is not yet fully clear what exactly Days Gone is. It traces elements from The Last of Us, Mad Max and DayZ. Such ambiguity can play a cruel joke on the game, because some elements may not be well developed.

Immure - April 30 [PC]

The psychological thriller Immure will be released at the end of the month for horror fans. We play as a certain Wil, locked in a mystical mansion. We need to escape this cursed place by traveling through different dimensions inhabited by cursed souls. We can both save and drive them out, trying to uncover the mystery of what is happening.

The Black Masses - April 2019 [PC]

Another zombie game, but easier in its narrative. This is a first-person RPG in a medieval setting, which will also have parkour elements. How. The main feature of the game was that its engine is capable of reproducing huge hordes of zombies, which we were shown in the trailer, where 10 thousand zombies run under the huge rotating blades.

We have to find out what the hell happened. The game world is comparable to Bohemia, which was presented to us in Kingdom Come Deliverance. There is no exact release date for the game, but in principle, the release is scheduled for April, so we hope and wait.

That's all for us. These were all of the largest and mid-sized releases on April 2019. Play games and stay tuned.
