Gadget for sports activities will receive NFC and Bluetooth 5

According to rumors spread by an unnamed source in the insider community, Mi Band 4 will be announced later this year. At the moment, there is information about the device passing Bluetooth certification. It is highly likely that two types of bracelets will appear on the market. There is no more precise specifics on them yet. We only know that one of them will be equipped with NFC.

Certified by the non-profit Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The markings of the models under which the gadgets were tested for the possibility of working with the Bluetooth 5.0 protocol were announced: XMSH07HM (Mi Band 4) and XMSH08HM (Mi Band 4 NFC).

The findings indicate that the latest XMSH08HM product will support NFC.

The previous version of the device supported the less advanced Bluetooth 4.2. Therefore, the new product will transmit data with even greater dynamics, its power consumption will become more efficient.

According to rumors from another source, Mi Band 4 will be equipped with an ECG sensor and a color display.

A week ago, Huami, a partner company Xiaomi, which produces this gadget for her, notified everyone about the imminent announcement of Mi Band

4. As usual, no specific release date was announced. They said that the bracelet will be released for sure, but it will not be in March or April this year. It was also added that this device will receive a ton of additions and updates over the previous model.

The previous analog of the Mi Band 3 fitness bracelet was released in September 2018. It costs $ 26. The gadget received a 0.78-inch OLED display, a 110 mAh lithium-ion battery, the autonomy of which is almost 20 days. The product also connects via the Bluetooth 4.2 BLE wireless protocol and is not afraid of being immersed in water to a depth of 50 m.

Experts suggest that this year's model will be more equipped and functional, but the price will not rise much.

Gazprombank will soon have its own voice assistant

Gazprombank's subsidiary, the Speech Technology Center, is actively involved in the development of the Varvara voice assistant. This assistant is planned to be equipped with functionality for recognizing the owner of the device based on various biometric indicators.

Therefore, the user will be able to give "Varvara" permission to access his information, social networks and payment services. This assistant will be taught to distinguish live voice from audio recording. If he is sure for sure that he is communicating with a person directly, then, at his direction, he will be able to voice information about incoming messages and letters.

Many Yandex clients use the services of Alisa, a voice assistant that started its work in 2017. The development is a success, so Sberbank, Tinkoff and Mail.ru Group began their research in this area. The latter company named its personal assistant by the name "Marusya". She has already been taught to recognize a specific client by his voice.

Such projects are not cheap. A Mail.ru Group spokesman recently said that the development takes a long time and costs several million dollars.

Time will show how justified they will be. Gazprombank reported that they hope that Varvara will pay off through licensed integration with other services, including third-party vendors.

Galaxy A90 will have a large display

An OnLeaks insider announced that the Samsung Galaxy A90 smartphone will be announced soon. He is predicted to have a 6.73-inch screen, 1.2 mm thick side frames, 3.2 mm chin.

The engineers of the Korean manufacturer have come up with an interesting design of the front camera retractable mechanism. It will extend and rotate. This is a cross between the counterparts of the OPPO Find X and OPPO N1.

The smartphone will also receive a 3610 mAh battery and 25 W wireless charging. The announcement of the gadget is expected on April 10.
