When Joe and Anthony Russo are not busy directing hundreds of actors on the set of new blockbusters about The Avengers , they develop their own production company and close deals with famous filmmakers. According to the portal Deadline , the brothers acquired the rights to film the book Exit West by Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid and invited the director Morten Tildum to lead the shooting of the future film.The bestseller, longlisted for the Booker Prize , is dedicated to the global migration crisis.Independent Nadia and reserved Said are forced to leave their home country after the boy's mother is killed, and their city turns into a battlefield between the government and the partisans. Together with other migrants, the couple sets off in search of a safe haven. First, they find themselves in a crowded camp on the Greek island of Mykonos, then find themselves in London, where they find a room in an abandoned house inhabited by immigrants from Nigeria. Finally, Sayid and Nadia move to California, but even here they have to fight every day for food and shelter, trying to find their place in the migrant community. It did not reach the heights of its predecessor, but it paid for itself at the box office.
