Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line) is ready to continue her production career. Deadline reports that the Oscar-winning actress will join forces with Anonymous Content to work on a serial drama based on the book by Kate Andersen Brower “ The First Women: The Grace and Strength of the Modern First Lady of America ".For several years, Brower covered the White House as a correspondent for Bloomberg News , thanks to which she was able to collect material for a book about the wives of American presidents. The First Women went to press this spring and was immediately featured on The New York Times bestseller list. In her book, Kate spoke about the ups and downs in the political and personal life of such first ladies as Jacqueline Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford, Rosalyn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton , Laura Bush and Michelle Obama. The director's chair for the pilot will be Robin Wright (Forrest Gump). The winner of the Golden Globes will also be sharing production with Witherspoon .
