Hillary Clinton entered an alternate reality
Streaming service Hulu, which released a documentary about Hillary Clinton earlier this year, cannot leave the former US first lady alone. And it is not surprising - you can treat the wife of the 42nd President of the States as you like, but no one will deny her influence on the United States and world politics in general. So Hulu decided to go further and launch a television adaptation of Curtis Sittenfeld's Rodham ("Rodham") book about Hillary from an alternate reality.The plot of the novel is based on the idea of how the fate of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (nee Rodham) would have changed if she had not married Bill Clinton. The upcoming series will tell the story of an ambitious young woman of the 20th century, about what changes her thinking and worldview undergo on the way from idealism to cynicism - and vice versa. Rodham is a contemporary parable about hard choices, feminism and women in power. The script is being written by Sara Trim (House of Cards), who will also executive produce the upcoming drama.
