DiCaprio will hunt poachers
In 2014, Leonardo DiCaprio and the online service Netflix supported Orlando von Einsiedel's Virunga project, shortly thereafter, this documentary about the staff of the National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo received a nomination for the " Oscar " award. The series, titled “ Ocean of Lawlessness ”, featured a wide variety of crimes that occur every day in international waters. According to insiders, the film will be shot in the genre of an action-thriller, and will be based on the story of the trawler " Thunder ". This fishing vessel is well known among poachers, who have increased global income from illegal fishing to $ 10 billion per year.  In his article, Urbina told about an exciting 110-day race for " Thunder " of two ships of the non-profit organization Marine Fauna Conservation Society , during which the ships managed to visit two seas and three oceans. Studio DiCaprio already has experience of cooperation with Misher Films : at the moment the companies are developing a biopic of the hero of the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Richard Jewell.  For the film adaptation of Ocean of Lawlessness , Leonardo will take over the production functions with Jennifer Davisson Killoran (The Survivor) and Kevin Misher (Johnny D.), however insiders still find it difficult to say whether the Oscar-winning actor has a desire to play one of the roles in the tape.
