Image As reported by The Tracking Board , Netflix continues to expand its line of in-house feature films. The online service begins work on a feature version of the documentary " Virunga ".

Insiders report that Netflix bosses are looking for a writer to adapt Orlando von Einsiedel's film so that the new project can fully convey the power of the original.

Virunga is a tale of daredevils who risk their own lives to protect the last of the mountain gorillas that inhabit one of Congo's national parks. The source also claims that the fictional version will focus on three rangers protecting animals from poachers.

von Einsiedel premiered on Netflix in 2014. Subsequently, the tape was nominated for the Oscar , and also brought its creators many professional awards. The popular review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes has 100% positive reviews for Virunga .

The first feature film for the online service Netflix is intended to be the drama by Carey Fukunagi "Rootless Beasts". It is expected to hit US theaters on October 16 . The channel's future projects also include the comedy The Ridiculous Six and the Pee-wee Toy House.
