Casting: troubled couples and Orient Express passenger
The star of the series "Dexter" ( Dexter ) and "Regions of Darkness" ( Limitless ) Jennifer Carpenter returns to the big screens, where she was last seen in the horror film The Devil's Hand. The actress got a role in the thriller Brawl in Cell Block 99 , as reported by the information portal Deadline .Carpenter will join Vince Vaughn, who has already signed up for the shooting, and the film will be directed and written by S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk). At the center of the feed is Bradley - a former boxer who lost his job as an auto mechanic. His already troubled marriage is crumbling before our eyes, and therefore the man does not find a better option than to work for an old friend as a drug courier. The situation gradually improves until Bradley is caught in a gunfight between the cops and his comrades. The main character is seriously wounded and sent to prison, where enemies force him to commit unpleasant acts ... The shooting of the project will start next month.  Toby Kebbell ("Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time"), James Marsden ("X-Men") and Lucy Punch ("Into the Woods ... ") are sent to the set of the comedy The Female Brain , in the company of Sofia Vergara. The film will be the directorial debut for screenwriter and actress Whitney Cummings, who will also take part in the filming of the new project. The plot is based on the book by Dr. Luanne Brizendine.The film will focus on five couples who, at different stages of their relationship, have to overcome the difficulties associated with finding balance, commitment, nurturing and expressing emotions.  Leslie Odom Jr. (Red Tails) is in talks to join the cast of the new Murders on the Orient Express . He will head the shooting of the film by Kenneth Branagh ("Thor"), he will also try on the image of the detective Hercule Poirot . Based on the novel by Agatha Christie, Michael Green (Green Lantern) is writing the screenplay.Events take place on the famous train from Istanbul. Poirot takes on the investigation of the murder of an American businessman, and any of the passengers could be found guilty. Recently it became known that Angelina Jolie refused to work on the project, but in her place the journalists are already predicting Charlize Theron.
