Spider-Man's Friends Rush into Fight
There was a time when Sony was planning to expand the Spider-Man franchise with several spin-offs. However, after The Amazing Spider-Man: High Voltage fell short of the major's expectations, these projects were sent to dust on the shelf.A week ago it became known that the bosses of Sony still do not refuse from one idea - the tape about the villain Venom received the release date. According to the site The Hollywood Reporter , the studio decided to resume work on another spin-off, which movie fans first learned about back in the fall of 2014. This is a film with superheroines from the Spider-Man universe as its central characters. Christopher Yost will take over the blockbuster script. His track record includes the second and third parts of "Thor", as well as the fantastic action movie "Max Steel", which last year failed miserably at the box office. Yost will build on the original text by Lisa Joy (Black Mark).  In the center of events of the new film will be two fighting friends of Spider-Man - Silver Sable and Black Cat . The real name of the latter is Felicia Hardy . She has excellent gymnastic abilities and is a first-class thief. In the comics, Peter Parker and Black Cat even have romantic feelings. It is noteworthy that the superheroine has already appeared on the big screens - in High Voltage she was played by Felicity Jones. Silver Sable is a professional mercenary and head of the Silver Sable International company, which is engaged in the capture of war criminals. On the pages of graphic novels, the heroine managed to be both an ally and an enemy of Spider-Man .  Right now, Sony bosses are actively looking for directors for both the Spidey girlfriends project and Venom . The major plans to start filming the films about Black Cat and Silver Sable this fall. Reportedly, as with Venom , the second spin-off will exist separately from the rebooted Peter Parker franchise, which Sony shares with Marvel .
