The French company Gaumont , in turn, decided to go further and turn the trilogy of teenage novels Neil Schusterman Chronicles of the Shattered Star into an animated series. The information site Variety informs about it.The original books tell the story of the adventures of six ordinary children, conceived at the same time - when a distant star shattered. As a result, each of these children received extraordinary, sometimes terrifying abilities. And only by uniting, the guys will be able to save the world and overcome the mysterious forces that threaten them. “The characters of Neal experience feelings that all children understand, which is what attracts them in the books. Schusterman is not just the author of the original, he will be part of the team that will bring the on-screen life of this inspiring trilogy, ”said Gaumont President Nicholas Etlan. The writer himself never doubted that Chronicles of the Shattered Star would be ideal for animation.  Gaumont has several more animated series in the near future.
