Unstoppable Liam Neeson
After the Hostage franchise, the name Liam Neeson is increasingly associated with action movies in which the main character has to save loved ones. The actor's new project will not be an exception.Deadline reports that Neeson will star in the thriller Retribution , a remake of the Spanish film The Stranger . Financing and producing the tape is being handled by Studiocanal , and the project will be its fourth collaboration with Neeson after Unknown, Air Marshal and Passenger. All three were directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, but this time he chose to limit himself to producing. The film tells about a successful top manager from Wall Street, who, on his way to work, learns that an unknown person planted a bomb in his car. It will explode if the main character does not follow several orders during the day. The situation is complicated by the fact that the man is not alone in the car, but with his family ... The original tape has been compared to the thriller Speed. Since its release in Spain, it has earned eight nominations for the prestigious Goya National Award.  Liam Neeson has just finished filming another project for Studiocanal , the action movie Hard Powder, and the actor's plans remain the crime drama "Widows" and a film about private detective Philip Marlow .
