The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the nominees for the Oscars . The names of the contenders for the main award in the world of cinema were announced by the president of the Academy Sherrill Boone Isaacs, directors Jason Reitman and Guillermo del Toro, screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and actors Ken Watanabe, Demian Bishir, Glenn Close, Brie Larson, Marsha Harden, Gaburi Sidibe and Jennifer Hudson.The musical "La La Land", which received 14 nominations for the " Oscar " award, became a favorite of film academics. According to this indicator, Damien Chazelle's tape managed to repeat the record of the films "All About Eve" and "Titanic". It is worth noting that the musical will compete for 13 gold statuettes, as it received double nominations in the category “Best Song ”.
